EViews 12 expands upon its extensive data handling libraries with the following new features:

DBNomics Database API Support
EViews 12 introduces connectivity to the extensive DBNomics database which collates data from a huge number of international statistical agencies and data providers.
The free and open data access includes data from 70 providers with over 22,000 datasets, all available as auto-updating series within EViews.

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Database API Support
EViews 12 also introduced native support for the OECD's database api allowing seemless integration of OECD data into EViews workfiles.

Improvements to SDMX and EIA Database Interfaces
EViews 12 includes a complete overhaul of the existing interface to SDMX databases, and to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) database.
